Jimmy Dickens began his ministry as a gospel musician playing guitar, traveling, and recording with different gospel groups. But in 1978 Jimmy Dickens Family Ministries began. That year Jimmy graduated from *Light of the World Bible College, Port Richey, Florida and received his license and ordination to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, which he maintains today, fulfilling  God’s call on his life, since a small boy, to answer the Great Commission. Michele, (then a supervisor at Light of the World Christian School) and Jimmy were married in August 1978.

                                                                    

                                                                                                                

  Jimmy and Michele are the parents of four wonderful daughters, Crystal, Angel, Trisha and Sarah. Crystal is a graduate of Fire School of Ministry (formerly Brownsville Revival School of Ministry) in Pensacola, FL. She then attended World Harvest Bible College in Columbus, OH for 2 yrs. She is currently working with the Jr. High Dance Team as one of Youth Team Leaders in her home church, she also ministers the gospel. Angel graduated from World Harvest Bible College in 2005, and worked with Metro Harvest Ministries, an inner-city outreach of World Harvest Church, Columbus, OH for serveral years. Trisha has finished one semester at World Harvest Bible College and is continuing  her education. Sarah graduated from Raven Academy of Education and has traveled on AIM missions trips to countries like El Salvador, Honduras and Nicaragua, she is preparing to attend Valley Forge Christian College in Valley Forge, PA in August 2009.

  Jimmy is founder, president and CEO of Jimmy Dickens Family Ministries, Inc. (JDFM, Inc.) a 501-C-3 tax-exempt organization with seven board of directors, which we are accountable to. Our offices and T.V. studio are in N. Tazewell, VA.

  For the past 30 years JDFM has conducted evangelistic crusades, open-air meetings, prison ministry, and missions work, in the U.S., Central America and the West Indies.

  The JDFM television program aired regularly on several TV stations in several states, and daily in Davao, Philippines, with awesome results for the past several years. In our mission outreach we have networked with New Hope Children’s Foundation, in El Crucero, Nicaragua, providing free education to over 500 children, feeding centers to children in rural area, an orphanage in Waspan, Nicaragua (one of the most impoverished areas), a bible school for pastors and layman, crusades and various other outreaches in Central America.

Jimmy holds credentials with the The Assemblies of God (Springfield, Missouri) and has a Bachelor of Theology from More Than Conquerors School of Theology, Portage, IN.
